In loving memory of Phoenix Sea who sadly passed away on 14th January 2022. ♥️♥️♥️
Phoenix’s diagnosis of Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy meant that he would never live a long life without struggle.
The condition took away all of his skills in such a short time and we fought everyday of his life to keep him as comfortable and happy in order to engage in the world as we could.
Phoenix had so much love for everyone he encountered he helped so many to see kindness is the most special gift of all.
He was so brave and so strong our shining light in a dark world.
He will be forever in our hearts.
Little Havens Hospice supported our small family as if we were part of theirs they gave us and most importantly Phoenix the love and attention we needed from the moment we were welcomed into their arms.
His life was so full of love. There are said to be five love languages and Phoenix will have been fluent in them all. Each day was so precious and accepted as the gift that it was. It has been my very special honour to share in some of those days.
I am certain that Phoenix’s death will be a great gap in your lives. You, Sarah, and has always been a great carer and advocate for Phoenix.

It has truly been a great privilege and joy getting to know Phoenix and Sarah over the years. Such a special and beautiful mother and son relationship, filled with love. Even though Phoenix's life was all too short, his contributions in advancing INAD research and knowledge in the field is invaluable and will continue to help other children with INAD.
