Hello Jim so pleased to read your message and thank you so much for your donation, Harry has had a very difficult time but now at peace. Of course Covid didn't help him as we were unable to visit because he was in a Home. How are you and when did you go to Australia, Harry's son is now living in Aus and he has come home for the funeral. Colin and I are well (fortunately) but feeling old age. A message from my brother Jim Slogrove who’s in Australia.
Devastated to hear the sad news about my old ‘mucker’ Harry. Remembering all the great days we had supporting Chelsea and all the international’s we attended. The highlight for both of us was to be at Wembley to watch England win the 1966 World Cup. We also watched every game England played at Wembley leading up to the final.
HE WAS A CHELSEA BLUE, THROUGH AND THROUGH.
Sadly, the final whistle has blown for Harry, for the last time.
Rest in peace my old friend.
