Please do pass this message along to anyone who knew Nick and would like to join his family and friends in a celebration of his life.

We would also like to sincerely thank everyone for their thoughtful messages and condolences.

The fond memories that have been shared by supporters of Nick's beloved team Charlton Athletic Football Club have been a particularly moving read:
https://forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/93291/nick-hannam-addickted-rip

If you're a fellow Addick we're sure Nick would have loved for you to wear your Charlton shirts on the day.

In lieu of flowers Nick's family have set up two collections, one to be made in aid of The Charlton Athletic Upbeats football team, and the other in favour of The Hospice in the Weald.

The Hospice in the Weald made Nick's final days as comfortable as possible for both himself and his family. They are staffed by truly special people and we will be forever grateful for the dignity and kindness they show to all in their care.

I've known you since you were knee high to a grasshopper courtesy of your big sister being one of my besties from Eltham Hill. Many a time spent round Glenesk Road with your lovely mum and dad and nan and grandad. Will never forget your cheeky grin always smiling. I remember going to Carrow Road a few years ago in the Away End tripped up a step and fell on of all people your lap!!! Plenty of Charlton fans like you taken far to soon Selwyn Duncan Captain and Clive to name but a few.Sleep tight you will never be forgotten xxx

Farewell Nick old son.
Didn’t know you for that long (just a few years) but for all that, I will remember you with great fondness for the rest of my days.
Only too happy to make a donation for The Upbeats in your memory , a cause also close to my heart.
StuM.
