Really shocked to learn that Terry had Passed. I was at the Smokie concert in Belfast last night (18 Feb 2022, where they traditionally kick off their tours) and only just heard the sad news. I have watched Smokie play many times here in Ireland and they have always put on a fabulous show and are great entertainers. The members of the band paid many tributes to Terry and vowed that "the show must go on". The son the keyboard player Martin was introduced as the new bass player. Unfortunately Martin himself was stuck in Inverness due to the snow. I feel that it is a fitting tribute to Terry and Smokie, that the Band will continue. R.I.P. Terry, always rembered.
