In loving memory of John Sydney Riggs, who died peacefully on Wednesday 8th December 2021 at Appleton Lodge, RBLI Village, Aylesford. John was much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
John’s family warmly invite you to his funeral, which will take place at St. Peter’s & St. Paul’s Church, Aylesford on 20th January at 12 noon. There will also be a live stream of the service available for those unable to attend on the day.
The funeral at Aylesford Church will be followed directly afterwards by a private cremation service at Vinters Park Crematorium.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The funeral will be held at St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Aylesford (near Maidstone) on 20th January, commencing 12 noon.

PARKING
Please park in one of the (free) village car parks. There is very limited parking available at the Church, and this will be needed primarily for the Funeral Director, videographer, etc.
TOILET
There is a toilet at the Church.
REFRESHMENTS
Because the service at the Crematorium follows directly on from the funeral, the family is not hosting a reception. However, please note that some family members will be gathering at The Chequers Inn, Aylesford (details below) later in the afternoon. Anyone who would like to meet up with us there will be most welcome.
