Dave was truly a 'gentle'man who loved life to the full even though he knew his life was short. He didn't dwell on what was to be. His laughter will be missed by everyone. Rest in peace Dave.

Tom andI have known Joan for 40 years and when she met Dave and we had the privilege of attending their wedding in Scotland we were honoured. They have both been tested with ill health over the last few years and We can honestly say how strong they both have been. Dave was an inspiration to us with the strength in the last few years never complaining and never letting his illness stop him from enjoying life an inspiration to us all.

Our dearest, dearest friend there are no words that can say how broken hearted we are. Dave was the most kindest gentlest person we had the privilege to know. The void in all our lives will be immense. We can only treasure the memories we share together and make new ones that he will smile upon and be proud of .love to you now and always x
