I remember Miss Sykes with great fondness and respect. She was my first ever manager as a newly qualified physio and I was delighted that she gave me a job. She represented a style of management that is rarer to find these days. She cared about all her staff and we, in turn, cared about her.

She will be much missed by many I’m sure. Thank you Miss Sykes for believing in me. May you rest in peace after a job well done.
