In loving memory of Lorna Susan Robinson (Woodward), who sadly passed away on 16th November 2021, after a long and brave battle with breast cancer. Lorna was born to Roy and Wendy in July 1963 and sister to Grant and Natalie. Lorna leaves behind her husband Peter of a far too short, 11 years.

After graduating from Holgate Comprehensive School in 1981, Lorna pursued a successful career in financial services and the NHS, leaving an endearing and lasting memory with colleagues. Many continued to be socialising friends as she moved on with her career.

Lorna’s hobbies were shopping, having a good time, often with a rendition of a song and 5-star hotels.

Your wonderful smile and sharp-witted humour will be sadly missed forever more.

Lorna was easily recognisable as a truly genuine and brave person, both vivacious and honest.

Her kindness and understanding have supported me personally in some difficult times, attributes I’m sure she extended far and wide throughout her life - it is heartbreaking that the world has been robbed of her light so soon.

My thoughts are with Pete in this difficult time.

Lorna, you'll be sadly missed by everyone who knew you. You were taken far too soon by this cruel disease. I'll always remember you for your warmth, kindness and witty sense of humour. It was always great fun when you were around. Sending so much love to Pete, Wendy, Roy, Natalie and Grant

Lorna- I am going to miss you so much. You were my best friend for over 35 years.
Funny, witty, kind, smart and a great support to me. I can’t believe I won’t see you again and have a good laugh over a glass, or two of Chenin Blanc.
Sleep tight,
All my love Yvonne xx
Sincere condolences to Pete, Roy and Wendy, Natalie and Grant.

Lorna – I’m so glad my last memory of you will be of chatting in the street after one of your walky runny things, when there was still hope and your most pressing concern was the state of your hair. So sorry all that positivity didn’t win.
