Sammy was a true family man . He loved to have his family around him, his sons. his grandchildren, his nieces and nephews. He always had a smile and and banter for them all. He was a great dad, grandad and father in law always there when needed. Always willing to help make life that little bit better for those He loved and those who loved him. Thank you dad for being who you were, I man of morals that could never be moved, a man for justice and the right way of things and with a world gone mad maybe it's best your time came now. As I know how much you got upset with this corrupt world.

You were a man of long stuffering, that endured much. I know this because of what I put you through in my younger years. Having you chasing me about the streets for as long as it took you to catch me. Sometimes right through until the next day, all because I didn't want to face the music for my naughtiness. You cared so deeply for us all. And for a man to bring up 4 boys all on your own. I would say you done the best for the hand that was dealt to you.

Looking back I know you will be sorely missed by your whole family old and young, and indeed those you befriended through your years. Every person I ever spoke to about you, even before you're pass said that you were a gentleman and had great words to say about you, I would have to agree.

You were the best person in my life. Without you, God only knows where I might be and as for my daughter, your Casey Wasey, you were the perfect grandfather. Teaching her how to get through this life and passing your morals down to her. They will help her greatly.

You were a massive part of our lives and a great guide. I know moving forward you will be greatly missed by Casey and myself, atleast until we meet again.

As the sun set upon this life, and your body is laid to rest, I know you'll be up in Heaven because God only takes the best, I know your watching over her and it takes away the pain, she will carry you in her heart, u til you meet again. Her world is a little darker, now that you're apart, but the memories are shining within her broken heart. You touched the lives of those you loved, and we wanted you to stay, but u you were needed up in Heaven and God whispered 'come this way'. I know whenever she's lonely and her smile becomes a frown, she'll look up to the sky above and an angel will be looking down. Thank you for being the best Grandad to my little girl big Sam.. Your job is done sleep peacefully Love Lorraine xx
