In loving memory of Brett Bell who sadly passed away on 1st October 2021.
Loving Father to his Daughter Jenna and Son Aaron, Loving partner to Michelle and her children Josh, Elsie and Billy.
A Twin, Brother, Uncle, Dad and friend loved by many.
Brett sadly passed in the early hours of October the 1st from pneumonia, during his life he spent many years working across the public sector, from local government to the NHS. He cared deeply about others through his work and part he played in the early days of IT security, working for the good of his local citizens and colleagues.
However in his later years he built on his love for the Ancient Egyptians and was intent on pursuing a degree in Archeology before his passing.
Brett grew up in the East End of London, and stayed true to his roots... Developing his own recipe for Pie & Mash, including the liquor, recreating classics like Toffee cream tart and being forever proud of his canvas picture, that showed the view of the City from the place he always called home, Cathall Road Estate, Leytonstone.

I miss you dad. Christmas is coming up, somehow, even though we used to call you the Grindh, it always hits the hardest. I miss you, I just wish you could have been around to see my first achievements, let alone those I have faced the past 3 years. I promise, I will make you proud, no matter what it takes. I am so lucky you chose our mother to be the one you shared me and Aaron with, rest assured, she is probably the best mother in the world, and has made your absence so much easier. I miss you, I miss the memories we shared, but I know I will always be able to live that with mum by my side. I just wish you could both be here on my graduation day.

Just checking in again, I love and miss you everyday that passes. You know, it’s quite funny, I remember when I told you I wanted to go to Kings to become a doctor, you told me university was useless except to be a doctor or a lawyer… well I never made it to a medicine course, but I am studying Law now. I wish I could tell you that. Keep being the silly man you are up there as you were down here.

no words could ever describe the hole i feel in my heart since you passed. i wish you were here with me as i take some of the scariest and most important choices of my life, at times no advice is good enough because it is not yours. i know you wished to see me grow into a young woman and i wish you could have too, im almost 18 daddy, but no birthday will ever be the same without your rendition of happy birthday.

what i would do to hear your voice and see you again. feelings i feel for you everyday are unimaginable, i wish you never left, you should have stayed to watch me grow into a child you would be proud of. its been 4 mts but it still feels like yesterday x
