In loving memory of Fred Tracey who sadly passed away on 19th July 2015. Fred was a much loved Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend. I'm sure you all have your own memories and stories about Dad from over the years which we would love to hear.

Any donations would be very much appreciated which will be donated to Prospect Hospice to support the wonderful support and care they give to all who need them. They did a wonderful job in taking care of dad.

Drake is going West, lads
So Tom is going East
But tiny Fred
Just lies in bed,
The lazy little beast.

A lovely happy chap, who I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to about his dancing, travels and plants when he popped into the office. Always happy and smiling.

I have fond childhood memories of Fred at family gatherings, particularly New Year celebrations at Grandma and Grandad's house. Fred was a fun Uncle to be around, always smiling and laughing and that is the way I will always remember him. Rest In Peace x

Fred was my father in law and I was extremely fond of him. We would put the world to rights over a few beers, discuss gardening tips, and cooking. He was incredibly knowledgable and had a great sense of humour. He loved shopping at Lidl and I remember him buying lobster - he ate like a king! I used to love his visits. We would sit and drink whisky into the small hours and he would regale old stories.
He was a man that lived life to the full. Who can ask for more.

We met in Minehead on a cold and windy day when I was on holiday with my friend Wanda and Fred was working nearby and staying with his friend and workmate, Maurice, in Nailsea. It was a whirlwind romance. We were married within a year and 'emigrated' to South Africa, where we spent 2 wonderful years in the sunshine. He was worldly wise and there was nothing that he couldn't master. I know that we've been apart for a long time, but we met up for coffee from time to time and share two wonderful children. I can't believe you've gone.

Dad always used to have a solution to any problem, I remember being so dissapointed arriving at a beach on a holiday in Dorset, bucket and spade in hand and ready to build sand castles all day, only to be faced with a shingle beach and not a grain of sand in sight! Well that didn't stop my dad, he persisted and still helped me build a huge castle. I love you and miss you Dad and always will xx
