George was a kind hearted loving family man, a fantastic husband to his wife Louise and brilliant Dad to his his 3 children Gary, Tony and Hannah and Hollie (who was like another daughter to him). George sadly passed away after battling his diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease for 17 months. George always wanted to go on a trial in the hope of finding a cure and was signed up to start one at King's College Hospital in London. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions the trial start dates for London King's College Hospital were delayed and George never had the chance to try and beat MND. We are asking for donations please to the Motor Neurone Disease Association as George would want all the money to go towards the MND charity in the hope that one day we will be able to live in a world free of MND.

When George was young he was a part of the Plymouth School Boys football team. Later he became a scout for Chelsea Football Club and he also managed Gary and Tony's youth football teams which he loved running. He was full of life and loved football including his team Man United. We are asking for George's Celebration of Life, if you are attending, to wear something red in memory of his love for football and his favourite team.

George loved life and said to us (after diagnosis) don't be sad, live life and look after each other. He always had a positive outlook on life, he was kind and caring and always put his family first. We have the best happy memories with him that we will keep and these memories will live on forever. He would always make us laugh and smile everyday, he was the best. We will miss you lots and love you forever.

Lots of love from his family
Louise, Gary, Tony, Hannah and Hollie xx

My first symptoms of ALS occurred in 2014, but was diagnosed in 2016. I had severe symptoms ranging from shortness of breath, balance problems, couldn't walk without a walker or a power chair, i had difficulty swallowing and fatigue. I was given medications which helped but only for a short burst of time, then I decided to try alternative measures and began on ALS Formula treatment from Tree of Life Health clinic. It has made a tremendous difference for me (Visit w w w. treeoflifeherbalclinic .com ). I had improved walking balance, increased appetite, muscle strength, improved eyesight and others. ]

I’m so glad I got the chance to meet George, I know he was very nervous the day Hannah introduced me to him. I don’t have many memories unfortunately but
He left me a little voice message the 2nd day I was over, saying he had a good judge of character and he see I was a good person, that he was very happy that hannah had met me and that we was together. We wasn’t actually together then lol but after hearing that message. My heart just felt it was the right thing to do. Such a touching moment it will never be forgotten xxxx

I still can’t believe that I am writing on your obituary. I have thought of so many things to say about how funny, loving, honest, clever, talented kind of man you were like everyone else has said. However I get to shout from the roof tops that you were all the above plus MY UNCLE GEORGIE and I am so god dame proud to say that. You may be gone Uncle Georgie but you will never be forgotten. So until I see you again, enjoy your birds eye view of all the football you could only dream of watching... I’m sure James has already sorted you out with the best seats in the house. Love you millions xxxxxx
