In loving memory of Honor Mary Pierce who sadly passed away on 9th September 2021
Honor had a passion for all animals, especially Horses and Dogs. So we have decided that rather then people spending money on cut flowers in her memory, she would be over the moon to know that all her friends contributed towards two organisations that best summed up how she would like to be remembered.
The Racehorse Sanctuary in West Sussex - Over 5,000 horses leave the racing industry annually, but sadly, many of them face an uncertain future. The Racehorse Sanctuary provides a lifeline for such horses; as one of the leading organisations working in this field their work is vital to thoroughbred welfare, as they have rehomed hundreds of horses since being established.
The Dogs Trust - Dogs Trust (formerly the NCDL) is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 15,000 dogs each year through a network of 20 rehoming centres in the UK. They have been involved in every piece of legislation affecting dogs over the past 126 years.
Happy memories of a dear and constant (crafty !) friend who will be much missed - Thursdays will never be the same again. She loved "All things bright and beautiful, and creatures great and small"... just as the hymn suggests.
