In loving memory of Albert Richard Smith who passed away peacefully on 16th September 2021.

Albert was an extraordinary father, father in law and Grandad. He was supportive, generous, kind, wise and protective towards us. He was always laughing and looked on the bright side of life.

Albert was a very contented man and was grateful for what he had. He was a positive role model to those around him. He was a hardworking man even after he retired. He was one of the last true gentleman.

Albert took pride in his appearance and always looked dapper.

Albert is and always will be truly loved by us and will be missed immensely. Albert's legacy that is left behind is engrained in us thru out our lifetime.

Our lovely Great Uncle Albert, one of the best πŸ’œ
Thank you for giving me so many wonderful memories growing up.
I used to get so excited when my mum (Marion) told me you would be coming to visit, just to sit and watch you and my beautiful Nan together, laughing and none stop talking would make me smile so much, your laugh was so infectious and I loved to listen to your stories πŸ₯°
I will miss you πŸ’œ love always, Shelley xxx

I only ever met Albert once, but heard all about him through Anne, and he sounded such a lovely man.

May this token be used to honour the kind heart and memory of Albert.

  • Thank you Carrol. Albert always was touched when the RSPCA appeal came on TV and made a comment each time expressing his love for animals and how people can be cruel to their companions too. This is befitting to his memory.

So sorry to hear that your dad has died X I have fond memories of him. I would come round to your house for our nights out at the black lion and I would always invite Albert. I knew he would say no and say you youngsters enjoy yourself ! That's why I would always bring round 4 cans of Guinness for him. He was a genuine man who loved his late wife and his family x
