I am an ex-president of The Middlesbrough Circle of Magicians. We had a meeting this evening and I mentioned that David has passed away. He gave a lecture at our society a few years ago which is remembered as one of the best lectures we have ever had. His lecture notes from that evening are treasured by our members and as a tribute to David, myself and a couple of other members performed some of our favourite tricks from his notes. He was a very clever and skilled magician.

So many memories of Wave from practically living at the Lang’s throughout my teens. Such a lovely man, nothing was too much trouble, from being our taxi every weekend to teaching us to drive in car parks on a Friday night. Not to mention his magic tricks and endless jokes. Rest in peace with Geraldine now. Lots of love Flea xxx
