Sending my condolences to all the family.

We were ever so fond of Michael. He always stopped to ask after our children and make us laugh with one of his anecdotes. We will miss his smile, lust for life and genuine friendliness.

Michael was a lovely warm, caring and deep thinking man it was my good fortune to have served for at Holy Communion at Ash. Our vestry chats after the service meant a lot and taught me to listen and learn.

A kind and gentle uncle with an unbridled enthusiasm and interest in all things. He will be greatly missed.

We have valued Michael's friendship since he and Margaret came to live in New Ash Green. We enjoyed his lively sermons at St Peter's Ridley and admired his enthusiasm for life and the care that he gave to his family.

I hold dear the happy childhood memories of Michael. He was kind, gentle and somewhat bewildered by emotional preteen girls.

I met Michael during my time working at New Ash Green library. We had many chats and always put the world to rights. He always took an interest in everything I said. Always asking after my family and how the library service was doing.
Michael you’ll be missed by so many. Love to all the family. Fly high with the angels lovely man xx

Michael was such a friendly person. He always asked after my daughters and remembered details I'd never have expected him to. His enthusiasm was wonderful. Remember and cherish the good memories and draw comfort from them. Sending love. xx
