In loving memory of Stanley Leonard Blatherwick who sadly passed away on 15th August 2021.

We are heartbroken that this truly remarkable man - Stan Blatherwick - Husband, Father, Grandad, Great Grandad, Brother, Father-In-Law, Uncle, Friend, and all round beautiful human being, passed away in the early hours of the morning on Sunday 15th August. The huge pain and loss we feel is made better for knowing that he is free from suffering and that the end was exactly how he wanted it - peaceful, calm, dignified and at home with his devoted wife Bev and daughters Tracy and Dawn by his side. We miss him so much already.

We love you so much and are so grateful to have shared our lives with you. We’re only able to carry on without you here physically because of the love, gratitude, compassion and strength you instilled in us. We will see you in every kind word and selfless deed. You live on through us all ❤️ xxxx

Remembering Stan always, with that cheeky smile and stories to tell, one of my favourites being the never-ending pennies.

A role model, a hero, a father and husband to be admired and someone who fills my childhood through to adulthood with happy memories and kindness.

Stan’s legacy lives on in his beautiful children, through to his glorious grandchildren and may Bev never feel he is far as he lives forever in her heart.

Love to you all, a wonderful man who leaves a shining memory of love, wisdom, strength, compassion and kindness. I’m a better person for knowing you xxx

Truly the nicest and best uncle I could have ever wanted and one of my hero’s and role models.Always had time teaching me boxing and arm wrestling, which I never beat him at. So many great memories growing up drinking tea and eating Garibaldi biscuits and chatting all evening. Will miss you so very much. Sending love to auntie Beverly, Dawn, Tracy and all the family xxxx

Sending all of my love to you all. I feel so very privileged to have had the pleasure of being included in so many of your family get togethers and getting to know your mum and dad over the years. Stan always had a wise word or a tale to share, always a friendly smile and greeting, and I’ll be forever grateful for the copious amounts of millionaires shortcake we got to enjoy back in the day 😉 How very blessed you all are to have had such a wonderful and loving dad, husband and grandpa - and he was equally blessed to have all of you. Love you xxxx
