Anthony 'Tony' McGurrin (19 Jun 1963 - 20 Aug 2021)

I've only heard of Tony's passing. I can't believe it. I sat beside Tony in St. Declans. I wanted to be as cool as him! He introduced me to the music I still love today. He sang House of the Rising Sun at our Debs. Rest easy Tony. Never stop singing.

I just now heard about Tony’s passing. Very sad news. I lived next door to the McGurrins in Dublin. You could not have asked for better neighbours. May he Rest In Peace. Aidan O’Rourke, Newport Beach, California.
