Being one of your brothers throughout your life, Neil, you always surprise me, but you sadden me with this one, I understand your last text to me, and I thank you, “that’s what brothers are for”. Say hello to mum and dad for me. Rest in peace. Kevin

It has been so hard to think of what to put here. Something deep and meaningful? A memory? Something funny? Condolences? All of the above?

The most honest I can be is to just say; if everyone was are a little bit more like Neil, the world would be a much brighter place.

And I can't think of anyone else I would prefer to meet me at the pearly gates with a cold pint.

Rest in peace Neil, a truly lovely man forever bringing joy as landlord in the sky
