After the church service on Friday 30th July at 10.30 am there will be celebration of Sarah's life at the Parade Ring Restaurant, York Racecourse starting from 12 pm on 30th July. There will be a buffet provided and a bar to purchase drinks - please let me know if you have special dietary requirements. I hope that many of you will be able to join us in church and at the celebration afterward.

I just wanted to thank everybody who attended on Friday, watched the livestream or made a donation. Sarah was a amazing person in so many ways who will be missed by so many people. I'm a different person for having met her, she always brought out the best in me and life wont be the same without her. I've been overwhelmed by all the offers of support at this difficult time and I'm grateful to all of you who sent cards, flowers, kind words and shared your precious memories of Sarah on Friday and on this page.

I will miss her dearly and my heart goes out to her husband Dan whom she loved very much, and he loved her just as much back. Heartbroken and sad to know I will never meet up with her for our chats over tea and coffee (usually at hers!) or trips out to the craft shop, or the town centre. Her bubbly and positive nature was amazing, and she made an impact in my life for which I will always be grateful. On my mind and in my heart. Rest in peace.....

It’s several years since I last saw Sarah; we’d often bump into each other at Marple Dale when she was visiting her beloved Dad. Prior to that, we spent many a night out in Manchester sipping cocktails and boogying. She really was one of a kind!
