Christine Ackroyd (31 Jan 1935 - 9 Jul 2021)

In loving memory of Christine Ackroyd who sadly passed away on 9th July 2021 after a fall in December 2020 and subsequent frailty when she returned home.

Born Christine Bosworth in Nottingham, the fourth of five children with three older brothers and one younger sister. She leaves four children, a daughter and three sons, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Christine loved horses, although she couldn't ride and was a good craftsperson skilled in sewing, crocheting and knitting and believed in passing these practical skills to all her children including the boys.
