In loving memory of my wonderful Dad, Chris Keeley, who sadly passed away on Tuesday 29th June 2021, too young at 71 years old. As anyone who knew him will know, he had a big heart, was generous of spirit and was a lot of fun. He was also a truly loved grandad, son, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Please remember him for the good times you might have had with him, be that watching him playing with his grandchildren, enjoying the racing, watching the Hammers, working adventures away from home or simply putting the world to rights with a Magners in his hand.

The last year of his life was a very difficult one, and as hard as it was to watch him go through the ravages of a terrible disease, it was made easier by the support we received from his carers and from the MND Association, who provided us with both practical and emotional help throughout.

We request that only family arrange flowers for Chris, but if you would like to make a donation in his honour, please do so to the Motor Neurone Disease Association either through this tribute page or a cheque (made payable to "MNDA Mid Kent") can be sent to:

You were one of the nicest person I have ever worked for, you didn’t deserve to suffer like this, nor your family.

Good bye old friend we laughed, cried and looked after each other from when we met at college in 1969,bought houses next door to each other both unaware we would be neighbours. We worked together, I was your best man, then life got in the way,but we still kept in touch seeing each other on rare occasions. Then out of the blue you move a few streets away, but it was like we had never been apart. Sadly it was all too short. You was always me my best friend and l will never forget that beaming smile. Sleep well

Really saddened to hear about Chris’s passing. Chris was a workaholic, but had three loves – West Ham, Cheltenham, and Allison, which he would talk about all the time. There are many fond memories of Chris while he was in the US – who can forget the many times he had to “walk the straight line” after late nights at the pub! He will be missed – RIP!

Having worked with Chris for many many years we had some laughs. Work was a passion of his and he was your actual workaholic and would sometimes drive me nuts!!
Another “slight interest “ of his was of course football. Myself being Scottish, I used to cringe when I heard the dreaded ‘66’ being mentioned and how England won the World Cup etc. I will be forever grateful to Chris for setting the record straight with him explaining that it was actually “West Ham” that won it.
When travelling, Chris constantly spoke of his family and how he was looking forward to seeing them. He was just a lovely person.
Everyone who knew Chris will sadly miss him. CK Rest In Peace.

With fondest memories of my fellow UKES Director & truly trusted friend. Akin to the words of our country’s greatest ever leader - “never in the field of human conflict has one man done more to show support for a team playing in claret & blue. He would fight for them on the pitches, he would fight for them on the terraces, he would fight for them up and down the land, but he would never, never ever surrender the ideology that it was the West Ham Utd academy that won the 1966 World Cup.” His footy judgement was always clouded by too many bubbles flying high in the sky. Farewell my dear friend, keep dreaming and may you RIP alongside your pretty little bubbles.

Megan and I will always remember your funny kind generous self. You absolutely loved your family and would do anything for anyone! We are sad for ourselves and your loved ones but glad your body is now at rest, what an absolutely terrible disease. Bless you for over the years trying to convert Megan and I into football even taking us to a match or 2 🙈 but we all loved going to the races 😊 although your tips weren’t always the best! 😜 We love you lots and would give anything to hug you one last time, our hearts are thinking of you Allison and family xx
