We were devastated to hear about Martin's death. Far to young to leave the world! We hope he is united with Janet in heaven. We will never forget his gentle manner, his hospitality and his special kind of humour. Rest in peace Martin! Abigail is looked after very well!

Many a conversation re work issues with Martin, he certainly knew his stuff and often the go to man (mostly above my head). Always willing to help, and as such in great demand. Shocked to hear of his sudden passing, some large boots to fill.

Martin was a great guy to work with & would give everything he knew if you asked sometimes long into the evening. Real shock to lose him so early & will leave a perinate mark on our memories. Thanks for being a great individual.

I have great memories of Martin; team days out, working on international standards across Europe, and just chatting in the office. He never gave less than his best and was always willing to help others. A great colleague and an even better person. So sad.

I was one of many colleagues and friends of Martin’s for quite a few years at BT, especially during the 1990s and early 2000s.
My memories of him are of a very kind man who was always ready to help out whenever he could. We also shared many team building events and long cycle rides usually involving a few beers and a curry. My thoughts and sympathies are with all those close to him.

One of the good guys in my days in Multi-Service Networks in BT. Kind, thoughtful and always a smile. Very sad news. My best wishes to all of his family.
