In loving memory of Brian Walston aged 85 years who sadly passed away on 22nd June 2021.

Brian was born in Redstone Park in 1935, a son for Doris and Frank, and younger brother to Di. He worked for the GLC in London. He met his wife Joyce, who he married in April 1964 and had 2 children Neil and Lisa. He later welcomed 5 grandchildren into his life Jessica, Jack, Nathan, Tess and Jaida - who he idolised.

Brian loved sport - he played golf, cricket, table tennis and was an avid supporter of Crystal Palace.

He will be remembered for his cheeky sense of humour and telling corny jokes. He particularly loved new experiences and to travel.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends but he will be in our memories forever.

Any photos you’d like to share on this page would be welcome. If you’d like to make a donation, we have chosen Alzheimer’s Society.

This happy photo was taken in 2016 on the Bluebell Railway of Uncle Brian and Auntie Joyce after enjoying a cream tea to celebrate my Dad’s 90th. It was a lovely day full of great memories.
