Being a colleague for 20+ years you tend to get to know someone fairly well. Caron was tenacious and focused, with a steely grit that enabled success in everything she undertook, that said, her kindness and willingness to help anyone for anything is testament to her character. The past 10 years, above all else, showed her incredible determination and courage on a daily basis when many of us would have said 'enough!'

Caron, words can not express the void your passing has left
Rest in peace

I’m deeply saddened by the lost of my friend and colleague Caron. We first met in Caron’s local farm shop where I worked, Caron and Russ frequently came in to buy horse feed. When I told her I was joining the special constabulary she instantly gave me her number and told me if I had any questions or concerns she was only a phone call away, we would talk often and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. She was the most amazing person and had time for everyone. Caron’s passion, bravely, kindness and positivity will stay with me forever. My deepest condolences to Russ and Devon.

Thank you for being so supportive during class, and always being one to make everyone laugh. You were a true mum to many of us in the force and you will be forever missed and treasured. Lots of love from Kent Police Class of April 2015.

I had to look back at our attestation photos to find one of us as a class together... through looking back I found this of you laughing at with family for pulling faces in the background of my photo with the DCC...
