In loving memory of Beverley Ann Watson who sadly passed away on 15th June 2021.
Our dearest Beverley - we will miss her forever. She was many things to many people; time and again we have heard how she had the kindest of hearts, how thoughtful and gentle she was, as well as being incredibly strong-willed and determined. Besides this she was an amazing cake baker, marathon runner, hen rescuer, walker of hills, lover of the sea, and - more often than not - the simple things in life. Beverley worked at Betty's York for 17 years, and in February 2020 graduated as a Nutritional Therapist.
In May 2020 Beverley was diagnosed with Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC) - a rare cancer affecting 1-2 in 1million people and unfortunately defies most treatments. Beverley was brave as she was beautiful. Stoic to the end she bore this awful disease graciously. She was immensely grateful for the support she received at St Leonard's Hospice, especially during her stay there August-October 2020.

Beverley had the most beautiful smile. A smile that filled the room with warmth. She had a heart full of love. She cared deeply for those she loved. She held them in mind and in her heart. Those who were touched by her love will never forget her.

Oh Bev! I am going to miss you chuck (you loved me calling you that). Our rambles, natters and laughs. Great memories for me to carry forward.
I will not however miss that home-grown yogurty thing that you gave me, which secretly sat festering in my fridge for weeks before you caught me out and I had to throw it away!
