Jessie Rita Cooper (20 Feb 1938 - 12 Jun 2021)

In loving memory of Jessie Rita Cooper who sadly passed away on 12th June 2021. Jessie was born on Pier Street, Brownhills in 1938 as one of seven children and never left Brownhills. She leaves behind her husband of nearly 50 years Stanley, beloved daughter Jeannette (who she rang every night at 10pm to say goodnight, God bless!), two adoring grandkids and two great-grandchildren, one of which she will unfortunately never meet who will be named in her honour. Jessie was the matriarch of the family, well respected within her community, a devoted Grandmother and avid gardener. She thoroughly enjoyed watching her soaps on television, often with a cream cake, babysitting her great-grandson Oliver, shopping with Jeannette and visiting garden centres with Stanley. A self-confessed food snob with a love of organic food, M&S shares are sure to plummet following the loss of her custom! She was the glue that held her family together and will be dearly missed by all. As one of her favourite songs says, she was truly unforgettable.
