Graham Revell donated £50 in memory of Graham

On behalf of my wife Lynn, daughter Megan and me and in line with the expressed wishes of his family we make the enclosed donation in the memory of a most generous individual “Captain” Graham Nunn.
Graham gave of himself, at times probably at the expense to his own family, with an enviable desire and passion for his work within the Church Army. He carried an external dour demeanour but a boundless inner enthusiasm that belied his years and communicated with an irrepressible spirit. It is somewhat ironic that an individual that could create so much joy and laughter in his line of work would be burdened with so much discontent in his recreational pastime playing golf!
Graham had a unique style of work and teaching using word of mouth, music and magic. We recollect with great fondness his beguiling charm during his orchestration of the Christingle celebrations!! Graham may well have performed his last “trick” but has left his indelible mark on so many.
It is significant that the Heart of Kent Hospice, along with such others, gives so freely of itself when needed. In times of loss we all look to draw whatever comfort from whatever source. The parallel in both the Heart of Kent and Captain Graham’s free giving philosophy provide such comfort. Of equal significance is the family’s wishes mean that as he did in life so in his passing he will have contributed to a greater good!!!

Graham, Yvonne and I so admired your unwavering faith in Jesus and your determined commitment to sharing his word and his love especially with the Lords children.
On a personal note we loved the twinkle in your eye and your huge smile when we didn’t put salad in your baguette!
Love Mike and Yvonne Wharrad
