Samuel James Pedlar (1 Sep 1926 - 1 Jun 2021)

A true gentleman in every sense of the word who loved his family and brought cheer to the world.

Have only had a few conversations with Sam,but the best was when we had both worked out in Saudi Arabia. As a legal man out there agreeing contracts….so interesting.

Many memories of an erudite and charming gentleman. Sam will be greatly missed but the memories remain with us all.

So sorry to hear of the sad loss of Sam. I didn’t know him for a long time but I’m grateful and privileged to have shared those moments with this kind, gentle and inspirational man. A life well-lived and always with a story to tell and a glint in his eye.

The Spring is sprung, the grass is riz,
I wonder where the boides is,
They say the boid is on the wing,

I’ve crossed the bar at last, mates,

Must see it fade, at last.
