Graham Giles (2 Jul 1948 - 25 May 2021)

In loving memory of Graham Giles who sadly passed away on 25th May 2021. Graham was born 2nd July 1948 to Cyril and Gladys Giles of Clifton, Nottingham. Graham served in the Royal Navy for 9 years before leaving. He met Jenny whilst in the Royal Navy in Portsmouth and they married in 1970 at Portsmouth Registry Office. They had their first child Ian in 1971 and then Nicholas in 1973. He spent a brief time working as a postman before starting work for British Aerospace in 1976. He worked in Saudi Arabia before returning home to his family in 1988/89. He had several jobs prior to his retirement in 2008. In his younger years an avid sportsman who loved playing football and cricket. He played football for the Royal Navy and also played cricket for the Brisitsh Aerospace Riyadh Cricket Team in Saudi Arabia. A follower and fan of both throughout his years always looking at results for Nottingham Forest Football Club. An avid artist and callagrapher. Graham was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandad.
