Marilyn was a very creative, thoughtful, caring person, who worked with young children all her professional life. She cared for them all, not only those in school but also the children of her family and friends. Memories of her quiet, calm personality will continue to live on.

I first met Marilyn in 1998 when I became her headteacher. From the outset it was apparent that Marilyn was an inspiring teacher who cared so deeply for the ‘her’ children. She was gentle, very kind and such a thoughtful person. She gave the children such a lovely start in life.
The angels have claimed one of their own!
Much love, Tim

Marilyn was such a kind, caring teacher and a wonderful colleague who always made time to listen and thought carefully about everything that she did and said.

Marilyn was a kind, considerate and lovely neighbour, whom we got to know even more so during the pandemic when the world stopped. We really enjoyed our little chats. Marilyn always used to pop a Birthday card over for our children’s Birthdays and was always ready to congratulate them on their achievements having watched them grow up.
When Marilyn became seriously ill, I realised what a brave lady she truly was as she was often in considerable pain but was facing her destiny with strength and courage and still concerning herself with others.
We are already feeling her loss very much and Heaven has again truly gained another angel.
God bless Marilyn xx
