Andrew Day 'Andy' (27 Nov 1953 - 5 May 2021)

I only found out today that Andy had suddenly passed away on the 5th May. I had sent a text to his phone a couple of weeks ago to book me in for MOT on my car, and Sue kindly informed me today of his passing. I am deeply shocked and upset and offer my sincere condolences to Sue and family. Andy has been looking after my cars for a few years now, and I trusted him completely. He always explained in detail about anything he had to do to my car,although I didn't always understand. He was chatty, friendly and a 'looker' too. He always brightened my day. He will be much missed. Love to his family xx

After attending Andy's funeral today we have found it very difficult to put into words how our friend will be truly missed. The shock & sudden passing of Andy has been extremely hard to come to terms with and that is why it has taken time to write this.

Andy was a much loved & respected part of our lives for so many years.
His absence at the shop with his banter & kind offer of 'tea making skill's is missed and very upsetting.

Our heartfelt condolences & support go out to Sue Day, Leanne, Cara & Marky Day through these difficult times ahead.

I was blessed with the greatest Dad in the world. I told him often but I hope he really knew just how proud I was of him. I will miss hearing him laugh, seeing his smile and giving him a hug so tight that I smelled of his aftershave for hours after. I could confide in him about anything and laugh about the smallest thing. I am going to miss him with all my heart. Good night, God bless Pops xxxx
