I didn’t know Hugh personally, but he figures in my memory of teenage years ,I’ve a vivid minds eye of Hughies Cafe, sitting on the high red stools by the big side window overlooking the bus station waiting for my boyfriend to get off the East Bridgford bus. Always a smile, a chat,a mug of tea,and a crispy cheese and onion cob !Sleep peacefully Hugh
