In loving memory of Dennis Reeve who sadly passed away on 21st April 2021 after several years of ill health. He is finally at peace after a very difficult last year of suffering, and with no visitors other than from the care home window.
Prior to that he was cared for by Margaret to whom we are so grateful. He managed to work on until his late eighties at the family business in Dartford and will be remembered by so many as such a fair, honest and gentle man. Indeed his entire working life was spent at the very address where he was born.
It is a relief to know that dad's suffering is finally over and we can now remember so many fond memories from before his illness.
Donations in his memory are to the RNLI or Dignity in Dying, representing his love of the water and his beliefs regarding end of life suffering.

Frank Clark donated £20 in memory of Dennis

Sue & Vincent Field donated £30 in memory of Dennis

It was a great privilege to work for you and for my family to know you. Thanks for all the help and knowledge you shared, I have fond memories of the chats we had in the morning and at the end of the day standing behind that counter watching the people of Dartford coming and going. You will be sorely missed, but we are glad you are at peace, hopefully sailing life’s waterways with the wind in your face.

Dennis was truly one of the good guys and the world will be a a shade darker without his presence and wonderful personality. He would always put others first and on a personal front, he and his family have my utmost gratitude and thanks for being there. Sadly missed but hopefully at rest, after an illness that would have frustrated him immensely as he was always planning the next project. My thoughts are with his family.
