In loving memory of June Zimšek who sadly passed away on 11th April 2014. Deeply loved wife, mother, granny and friend.
Our mum was a fantastically loving, strong and stoic woman, coping with whatever life threw at her and remaining positive throughout. She was a healthy woman, and the sudden admission into hospital and the events that then unfolded came as a complete shock to all of us.
Mum leaves behind a family bereft, but full of love for her and truly grateful for everything she did for us.
Dad, and our two families, and all her friends , will miss her terribly, our family lynchpin and a true friend.

Mum - You were so good at dealing with the challenges of Macular Degeneration, and it was so impressive how well you overcame it. The Macular Society was a great help throughout. For this reason I'd like to make a donation in your memory so that more people in your situation can be helped in the same way. I hope this donation allows others to deal with Macular Degeneration in as inspiring a way as you did.
