Nicholas, we miss you so so much, and this is why - every word of it was you:

8. A gentleman is well-dressed. He knows how to select clothing that is appropriate for any occasion and that will assist him in accomplishing his goals. We lived in the city and worked together every evening till early morning. You'd then drive to Radcliffe on Trent to spend the night at your father's house so you could cook him English breakfast in time in the morning, until he passed away 4 years later. You never missed a day. In the quiet early morning I could hear you starting the engine of your Jaguar, which then roaring passed the house, off to your father's. That was you, disciplined and caring.

The way you dealt with your cancer with such astonishing bravery, courage, discipline, and unwavering positive attitude is the testimony of the human spirit and an inspiration for us all. You fought it so hard till the very end, with no complaint, no self-pity. You just dealt with it as it comes, and tried to fix it if you could, whatever the problem. I admire you. You will be loved and sorely missed forever.
