In loving memory of Brian Pearce who sadly passed away on 8th March 2021

Brian dedicated his life to loving his family, enthusing his friends, serving the church community and always looking out for others.
His life was: Others first; Self second.

Brian's career started on the newspapers in Fleet Street, and concluded in a senior role at WH Smith in Swindon as Logistics Controller, Books.

Amongst his voluntary work he served with the Samaritans, Prison Visiting, and Willows Debt counselling. He served as an outreach deacon at Rodbourne Baptist Church, helped lead the music, led the monthly Family Services, and taught in Sunday School. He was involved with his wife June in the pastoral care of the Church too.

Brian also had a passion for Amateur drama - he was in the Haydon Players and key each year was the crazy pantomime where he always played the joker. He joined SOAP - the Swindon Open Air Project where a converted bus carried the team around the borough and county performing comedy sketches and preaching the gospel.

Everyone who knew Brian, loved Brian... he is fondly remembered and sadly missed by family, friends, and the Swindon Church community.

Sue's Dad Brian. What a beautiful, kind man who always welcomed me with a huge smile and hug. I remember how proud he was of you Sue when I sat with him and your lovely Mum June at a Church service you were taking. How we giggled when I started singing before everyone else.
Sending our Love to you and your beautiful family xx God Bless
Claire
