Ian a loving brother /brother-in law & good friend. Back in the eighties we were always in the pub at the weekends. We'd get drunk & tell each other our secrets. He often spoke about meeting the right girl & getting married, he thought this would never happen. We always told him that he was a funny & genuine guy & not not to worry & that one day the right girl would come along. Sure enough she did & that person was Married. He was so proud & couldn't wait to show her off. When they got married it was the best day of his life, closely followed by the birth of their 4 children. His life was now complete. Miss you old friend. R. I. P Ian. Xx

Ian
I didn't have the chance to say goodbye to mum but I could say my goodbyes to you,
You wasnt just my brother but my best friend to.
I could always count on you to be there to talk to and you always listened, even if it did take 59 minutes.
It hurts so much to think I'm not going to hear your voice, your laugh and that dry sence of humor everybody loved about you.
You was taken to soon but it gives me comfort to know there will be alot of open arms so you will never be lonely.

Love and miss you so much
Your loving sister
Alison

R.I.P uncle Ian,
Of all the blessings however great or small,
To have had you as a uncle was the greatest one of all,
The family chain is broken now and nothing seem the same, but as god takes us one by one !
the chain will link again❤️
God bless and sleep tight uncle Ian

Ian you were a great brother who would help anyone around you. You had dificulties of your own but never let them get you down and if you did you never showed it. Always had a smile on your face. You had a great family around you who doted on you as you did them. You was taken too soon, but i take comfort in knowing that you are reunited with mum and all who sadly passed before you. You are sadly missed. RIP Brother xx
