Sheila Challis (11 Dec 1928 - 18 Mar 2021)

In loving memory of Sheila Challis who sadly passed away on 18th March 2021 at Hengist Field Care Centre Borden.
Sheila was born in Chatham in December 1928 and lived the majority of her life in the Medway Towns.
Sheila was happily married to Peter for 64 years. She was much loved mum to Sylvia, Caroline and Elizabeth, mum in law to Stephen, Andy and Jeremy, Nanna to Andrew, Christopher, Graham and Hannah and great nanna to Jessica, Amelia, Wilfred and Joshua.
Sheila was for many years an Elder at Chatham United Reform Church, spending much time flower arranging, something she loved, organising harvest suppers - her apple pies were delicious, coffee mornings, lunch clubs and running the Guide Company.
For many years Sheila was District Commissioner for Chatham North Girl Guides. Sheila was a founder member of the Luton Valley W.I.
Sheila was a strong character and fought cancer and Dementia for many years.
She will be much missed by all her family but she has found peace at last.
Reunited with Peter and Caroline.
