In loving memory of Winston Stuart Tate who sadly passed away suddenly and tragically on 10th March 2021.
Beloved Husband of Sue,
Loving Brother,
Dear Dear Friend,
Founder of Cavy Corner Guinea Sanctuary.
A thoroughly decent Gentleman.
Winston had a heart of gold and an irrepressible sense of humour.
Caring, Compassionate and Brave.
A unique, special and extremely clever man who made a difference to animals and people alike.
Winston will be so missed by all who knew
him, as to know him was to love him.

Family flowers only please. Any donations in Winstons memory will enable his charitable legacy to continue

Winston was an amazing person he was gentle kind and had a heart of gold.
He was so helpful to me when I had problems with my Guineas some of which I would have lost had it not been for Winstons help and advice, this along with all the hundreds of Guineas Winston helped over the years that have gone on to thrive and in some cases will have had babies this is Winstons legacy.
Thank you so much Winston for you did for these wonderful Guineas and all the help you gave me.
I take comfort that I know all the Guineas that have gone over the Rainbow Bridge are now in your loving care. Good night God bless Winston.

Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
So loved, so missed, so very dear.

It is very rare that you get to meet people that radiate such generous and kind spirits as well as being incredibly hard working, fun and knowedgable as Sue and Winston. We are sending lots of love to Sue and all Winston's family and friends.

I loved my lively chats with Winston during my 12 years of volunteering. He was a kind and generous man and it was a pleasure and privilege to know him. I will miss him, he was my friend.

Winston will be sadly missed. Our two girls stayed for holidays. I could trust them to Sue and Winston's care. Daisy died last year and little Lilly sadly went over the rainbow bridge three days before Winston. Together forever now.

I didn't know you personally Winston but I knew of you. You helped so many guinea pigs and families with guinea pigs. You have crossed over the bridge to be with many of the Cavy Corner guinea pigs who have gone before. Sadly missed by those left behind.

So so sorry Sue and family
Winston was a real gentleman with a heart of gold
To look after those fur babies as he did saving numerous lives of the ill treat and poorly Guineas he was an angel, as is Sue his loving wife
I wish we could have known him better but even after a short time his personality shone through.
