I HAVE KNOWN WILF FOR OVER 61 YEARS- ON AND OFF, SINCE WE WERE JUNIOR LEADER SOLDIERS TOGETHER IN 1960 [IN DOVER ]. WE WENT ARE SEPARATE WAYS AFTER LEAVING 3 TRG REGT R.E. IN 1963, BUT RE - CONNECTED 20 YEARS AGO WITH REGULAR PHONE CALLS AND A COUPLE OF 'HOME VISITS'. HE WAS A GENUINE ,HONEST AND UP-STANDING GUY,- A MAN'S MAN.
HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS, WHOM HE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR. HIS LATEST PROJECT BEING - MAKING TOY CASTLES AND DOLLS HOUSES FOR HIS GRANDCHILDREN.
HE HASN'T BEEN IN THE BEST OF HEALTH FOR A WHILE NOW -- BUT HE SOLDIERED ON. R.I.P WILF, GOD BLESS

You’re passing has left a huge void, I consider myself fortunate to have a been a friend, I’ll miss our chats pulling the world apart then putting it to rights. You’ll be greatly missed at our KT trips around Yorkshire. RIP Wilf

Deepest condolences. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have known Wilf, even if it was for only a relatively short time. Always an entertaining and interesting man to speak with. Will be much missed.
