Have thought about you all today. A wonderful lady full of fun and energy. Playgroup was amazing under her leadership. I enjoyed working with her over many years. A very special friend. X

Dear Stewart, Liz, Rob and family. So very sad for your loss. Jan will be so missed by so many. I worked at Otterbourne Playgroup back in the 1980s where my boys Simon and Mark Billington blossomed under Jan's guidance. She became my forever friend, although our ways parted over time we always kept in touch. Heaven has gained a new and mischievous Angel. Her sense of humour and loving nature will be so missed. Memories

Jan and I met at Mitchell Youth Club when I was 15 and Jan was 16. We became friends immediately. We both loved jiving and as I was tall I would take the man's part and spin her round and round, she had a very good sense of rhythm as was obvious when in later life we went to a line dancing class and she had to keep pushing me to face the right way! Jan & Stewart introduced Bob and I to the Star Clipper ships and the four of us had wonderful holidays for many years. I miss her greatly. She was a lovely kind lady.

Introduced us to the Star Clippers on which we had wonderful times. I will miss her so much, she was a lovely lady.
