Thank you to everyone who attended and made a donation at Phil's funeral. The money collected was used for a memorial plaque in the Doncaster Rovers Memorial Garden, close to the main entrance to the Stadium. The remainder has been split evenly between CALM and RNLI and donated here. Thank you again, Andrea

In loving memory of Phil Smedley who sadly passed away on 10th February 2021. The much loved dad of Emily and Alice, dear son of John and Susan and devoted grandad of Imogen also, the much treasured brother of Andrea and Michael and a dear nephew, uncle and brother-in-law.
If you are planning to attend Phil's funeral service, our chosen dress code is smart and not black.
A collection box will be available at Barnby Moor Crematorium, the proceeds from which will fund a commemorative plaque in Doncaster Rovers Memorial Garden.

It would be fair to say that Smed and I argued a lot! But he was a constant in my teenage years along with many of the faces in the photo above, from a trip to Guernsey. I can't quite believe that I will never get to have another debate with you Smed RIP
