In loving memory of Jack Hill, a loving family man, Husband, Dad and Grandad

We as a family are saddened to confirm that Jack peacefully passed away in Maidstone Hospital on the 22nd January 2021 having suffered a stroke three weeks prior at home.

Whilst we as a family are dealing with this the best way we can, we are all over whelmed with the response from so many people around us who have shared time with Jack, whether it be at work or as friends and know him to have been the life of the party!

We would be ever so grateful if you could please share and upload your photos, stories or any memories you have of your time with Jack. Even if it was the time, he sang Karaoke, danced to Ballroom Blitz or dressed up as Shirley Temple or maybe a more sensible memory ( we doubt it) at work or in a meeting.

The funeral at Vinters Park will be small, attended by family and invited guests only due to covid restrictions.
Flowers will be from family but if you wish to make a contribution to one of the two charities we have chosen please use the links to the right on this page.

We appreciate people may like to attend but are unable to due to the present lockdown and risk, we have therefore decided to stream the funeral on-line please use the login details below:

Plans for a celebration of Jacks life are underway and we will provide further information to honour his memory when restrictions are eased and we can all get together raise a glass, laugh and share stories and remember all the fun memories Jack brought to so many throughout his 86 years.

He would say don't mourn but be happy, love and laugh everyday.

The world is poorer without him but my life is richer having known him. Jack made everyone feel special. His smile, if not on his lips, was lurking somewhere very nearby, ready to jump out at the slightest encouragement. It didn't matter that you had not seen him for 5 years, he greeted you as though it was only last week when you parted.
We will always look back with fond memories of you.
Carry on making them smile Jack.
Maz, Tony and Sara

In Loving Memory of Jack who was part of our lives for so many years our favourite memories are those appropriate poems received on the special occasions in our lives, always there when DIY was required, the smiling reassurance and everything that was simply Jack. Always greeted with a warm hug and smile whenever we saw Jack, and was always clowning and joking round. Fond memories of Jack include the water pistol fight at one of Tommy's birthday parties - Jack single handedly going into battle against the children. A regular at all the school events from Christmas plays - sports days to summer fairs. Our everlasting memories of Jack will be of the kind caring, giving and extremely funny and entertaining man and this will always bring a smile to our faces when we think of him. Love Trevor, Candice and Natasha
