Loving Wife to Keith, treasured mum to Nyree and Luke and devoted Nanny to Mya, William and Eleanor.

Trish grew up with her parents Beryl and Donald and her two brothers Lesley and Gary and met her Husband Keith when she was 16. Trish very quickly became part of Keith’s family and had a lovely relationship with her in-laws Mary and Ray.

In 1976 they Married and 4 years later started a family when Nyree was born followed by Luke four years later. They both loved family life so much so that as a couple they decided to start fostering in the mid eighties and continued to welcome children into their home until around 2007. Life was very busy during this time and with a nurturing nature Trish loved being surrounded by children and even childminded after school and in the holidays.

So it goes without saying that when her grandchildren Mya (19) William (11) and Eleanor (6) were born Trish was over the moon. She loved nothing more than spending time with them and loved them all very dearly and getting together as a family was her favourite thing to do.

As well as a busy family life Trish also spent many years working for Social Services working her way up to a Managers Role of the Community Living Team which she helped to develop, supporting people with leaning disabilities to live independently in their own homes. She was made redundant from this role after many years and then went on to work for Sanctuary Housing to continue supporting people. She will be missed by many colleagues and service users and will be remembered fondly for the work she carried out.

Trish and Keith also had a love of motorbikes and travelled across the UK and Europe many times and shortly before her passing she talked about how she had recalled some of these memories of their travels and reassured her family that she’d had a good life.

Dedicating her life to her family and to her work made her very happy and she was very proud of her children, grandchildren all the children she fostered and her 44 year long happy marriage to her best friend Keith.

Taken to soon she will very missed by all her family, and the many hearts she touched and nurtured on her journey through life.

I was so saddened and shocked to hear the news of Trisha. We met at the age of seven and we was inseparable for many years, we were best friends all through school. We had an amazing childhood we went on many holidays and day trips together we were so close she became one of the family. Trisha was the most kind and considerate friend. We both married our sweethearts in 1976 and Trisha was so happy when she had Nyree, she loved children so much and then went on to have Luke to complete her family. We always remained very close at heart. Thinking of you Keith and your lovely family at this very sad time. X

I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Trish. I had the pleasure of working alongside Trish in the CLS at The Old House for over twelve years. Trish was kind, caring and totally selfless, always putting her service users and staff first. She was liked and respected by everyone who she came in to contact with.
Thank you Trish for being part of my working life and I will treasure the memories that I have of you. Work always came first but we did it with fun and laughter. You changed the life of so many people. The legacy that you leave behind is immeasurable.
My thoughts are with Keith, Nyree, Luke and family at this time.
Heaven has just gained a true angel xx

I had the pleasure of knowing Trish during my teenage years spent with Nyree and family parties. I will cherish the great memories spent with the Hamiltons at Meredith Close. I can hear your laugh now when I chased Richard down a hill, pretending to hold a frog in my hands at Shell Island.
I am so sorry to be writing this message. You were taken far too soon.
My condolences to Keith, Nyree & Lewis and Mya. Luke & Nicola, William and Eleanor. Uncle Les and Gary.
Rest in Peace Trish, I will remember you with fondness always ❤ xxx

I had the pleasure of knowing Trish for a number of years and was floored hearing the news. I got to spend hours at a time with her so we have spoken alot over the years and every time without fail she spoke about her family. She was so immensely proud of all of them. Keith, Nyree and Luke, Lewis and Nic, Mya, William and Eleanor were always topic of our conversations, she loved talking about if she and Keith had been or were going away, or if her family had been away, or what the kids had been doing, new ventures the family had taken on, Mya and her riding.... She just loved her family beyond anything else.
Her passion for her work always amazed me as well, I would of retired before she did.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the hole left behind. To the Hamilton and Petitjean family I'm sending all my love now and forever xxx
