My Uncle Vic has always been an uncle who has made me roar with laughter. I have so many happy memories, water fights in the garden, silly games at Christmas, walks with the dogs and pens up the noses. A man I was very proud to call my Uncle and I shall miss you very much. My heart and sympathy are very much with you all Auntie Anne, Spencer, Jane, Hannah and Jack. Although I can not be with you all at the funeral I shall be watching on line and am with you in spirit. God bless you Uncle Vic, rest in peace All my love Catherine xxxx

We have so many wonderful memories of dear Vic when we had our family gatherings - one of those friends who was really family. He and his sense of humour will be sadly missed. I remember him commenting at Dad’s funeral at Barham (which overlooks Broome Park Gold Course) that when he left this mortal coil, he thought his ashes should be put inside a golf ball and sliced across country onto one of the greens. Typical Vic. Thinking of Anne and the rest of the family at this difficult time...but he will still be firmly in your hearts.

Vic was a great family friend to my wife Iris and I for many years. I got to know Vic through my wife Iris, who worked with Vic's wife Anne, with the two of them becoming very close friends, as did Vic and I.

Vic and I always had a good chat and a laugh about the good old days when we met up and he was great company. Vic was a kind, caring, loving, considerate family man, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

To Iris and I, Vic will be remembered as a very close family friend and we will miss him dearly.

Forever in our hearts.

George and Iris

So saddened to hear the news. Vic always had the time for a chat and a laugh, and was a kind, thoughtful man who always showed a genuine interest and concern for how things were 'going 'in my life and I will miss him greatly. Whenever we met at family occasions or spoke on the phone, we would put the world to rights with our shared political views and have a good chat and a laugh.

He has been a very close family friend to not just my Mum and Dad, who along with his wife Anne, is one of my Mum's best friends ever but also to my family (Bev and the kids).

When I pass over following this life’s journey, I look forward to seeking Vic out in Heaven's bar in the clouds, where we can once again chat and laugh over a few beers.

Vic, you are in our hearts and our minds always. Peace and love friend.

A TRUE FRIEND.

We first met Anne and Vic in February 1967 54 years ago when they became our neighbours in Chatham.
In lives path as time went on we shared our highs and lows together being part of one anothers family including our Grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters - they all knew Vic. He was both our children's Godfather. Vic being an only child made up for it by having so many long lasting friendships. He always made Margaret laugh when leaving our house by rearranging the cushions he Sat on and saying to our dog he would send him to the bone yard!
Vic,Bob and Steve really enjoyed their Wednesdays playing golf in all weathers.
It was extremely sad that in the latter part of his life due to the awful virus restrictions we were unable to visit him but Anne and Vic were always in our thoughts.
Our sincere condolences go to Anne,Spencer,Jane,Hannah and Jack.
Vic was a TRUE FRIEND.

Margaret and Steve.
