In loving memory of Wendy Sandra Leigh who sadly passed away on 21st January 2021.
Due to covid-19 regulations, Wendy's funeral is sadly, by invitation only. Shortly after the service, a video link to the whole service will be posted here for those unable to attend.

The family would like to thank all those who have expressed their condolences and who have enquired as to the funeral route whereby they can stand to pay their respects.

The cortège will be leaving the house around 12.30pm heading towards Ash Hill Crescent, we will return back down Brockenhurst Road then Amanda Drive, before turning onto Manor Road and making our way to Hatfield Cemetery

Wendy absolutely loved flowers, so anyone wanting to send them, they will be lovingly welcomed.

For those who have enquired about our preferred charity, below is the link to make a donation to 'Sapphire Medical Foundation'. Please put in the comments section: IN MEMORY OF WENDY LEIGH

As soon as permitted we will be holding a memorial service for Wendy at Hatfield Church, the details of which will be posted when we know more. This will be followed by a party to celebrate Wendy's life and all our love for her.

Formidable Wendy Leigh
A second Grandma to me.
Matriarchal, fierce and firm
Family, your greatest concern.
A sister, a mother, a wife.
The backbone in everyone's life.
Your strength and beauty, divine!
Wendy, you're one of a kind.
Funny, warm and caring
Bonkers, gorgeous and daring!
Impeccable taste for sure
And a family you adored.
Thank you for loving me
And encouraging your girls
To be everything they could be.
A weapon of a woman
Now you're free.
Peace be with you always
Formidable, Wendy Leigh.
