Donate in memory of
In loving memory of Emma Elizabeth Andes who sadly passed away on 16th January 2021
Emma was a truly amazing person: a badass friend to many, a wonderful aunt, a loving daughter, a perfect sister, and the best wife.
Emma first became ill aged 13 and for the next 17 years there were good & bad periods - but she 'dealt' with cancer (lymphoma). She didn’t want her life to be seen as a battle, or to be pitied as a 'victim'. Through so much adversity she remained strong, brave and dignified; never complaining about the hand she had been dealt, but making the most of how she played it.
She was the most kind, selfless and caring person, who always put herself last and the happiness of others first. Even through the most difficult of times she always made sure friends & family were ok. She forged amazing friendships and deep connections with people, which she nurtured, always taking genuine interest in peoples lives.
Her life was too short but yet she touched so many, and she'll be remembered by all who knew her for how much love she gave to those around her. That love will stay with us all as Emma lives on in our hearts forever. We have lost a truly special person.
If you would like to donate to charity in Emma's memory please use links at the side of the page. We'd like all donations to be split as evenly as possible between the two charities so please consider this when donating. The two charities are: Anthony Nolan, who save the lives of people with blood cancer who need a stem cell (or bone marrow) transplant and; Trekstock, a charity who support young adults with cancer.
If you'd like to go one step further, it would make Emma extremely happy if you signed up to the stem cell donor register, details can be found at:
Thanks so much for you donation, it will go to very important causes.
