Thinking of you and all your family today. We’ve just watched the service. What a lovely send off it was.
I have so many memories of you Mick and Janice. Family friends since before my time. Then became great friends with Suzanne and Michelle, growing up with our grandparents living as next door neighbours.
I was one of the friends you employed as a teenager, first at DHP then in Batley - and oh my word! I must have been THE WORST employee ever!!! It was at the time when going out and having a good time was the absolute priority and work was way down the list!! We’d get changed in the loo’s at 10 after an afters shift - spend the night living it up in The Frontier, then clock back on for the day shift trying to pretend we were completely sober!! 😮🤢 How you put up with me I’ll never know but I’m sure I had the most warnings of any employee ever!! 😘
I was welcome in your home growing up and spent lots of time there, getting ready for nights out or in pj’s and dressing gowns doing Jane Fonda work outs when we got home after the night club! Or at the epic fancy dress barbecues. You and Janice just went along with it all 😊
I could go on much longer - but for now I’ll say goodbye.
Rest in Peace Mr. Dupontet - I’ll raise a glass of the special stuff for you - all my love Louise xxxxx💙

We met as apprentices at Rotax in the 60's and became very good friends. We had a lot of laughs and good times back then and kept in touch all these years. He was a thoroughly good, decent man, who will be much missed by all who knew him.

Im so lucky you're my Grandad.
Thank you for spoiling me rotten, letting me and George play you by taking it in turns to subtly get you to agree to buy us two things every time we went to the shop and literally buying everything we picked up for our yearly Christmas trip to Meadowhall. Thanks for making us whatever we wanted for dinner everyday even if you did burn my toast just scrape the black bits off and make me eat it.
Thank you for taking us to the circus and funfairs on sleepovers and for letting me choose a fish when I won hook a duck even though mum and dad wouldn't be happy with it.
You were always laughing and telling us stories of your amazing life. I'll never forget them especially your favourites like how you met Grandma, did the ton on your motorbike and bought a house for £25.
Thank you for being great lots of love
Your first grandchild
Beth xxxx

Grandad, you have been there my whole life and I will forever be grateful for everything you have done for me and Beth from picking us up from school every night to giving us our first martini. I will always remember our petrol station sweet hauls and when you took us shopping for our Christmas and birthday presents and I would always get everything I even looked at twice. You always put a smile on my face and I love you so much and always will xxxx

Well my friend and Brother
We knew each other for 12 years. We laughed a lot and had some very memorable times and discussions. The tales you told Pat and I about your youth and adolescent years had us both in fits of laughter at times. I will always think of you in your Shorts and Scout uniform and the half a brick.
I will forever be glad that you were part of my life and forever be sad until we meet again Michael
Rest easy Brother

Greatly saddened by the loss of my oldest pal, Mick. As youngsters growing up in tight times, Mick would always be there to brighten up the day. I Could tell of many hilarious, some times hair raising, adventures we had in those early years. What memories I have and what a privilege to have known him and to have had him as my great friend. My thoughts are with Suzanne, Michelle and their families at this very sad time, I know how much Mick adored them. Rest in peace my old friend.
