In loving memory of Ernie Lockwood who sadly passed away on the 5th January 2021. The dearly loved husband of 60 years of Margery and very special Dad to Kathryn.
Sadly due to the current government restrictions Ernie's funeral service inside St John's Parish church Wadworth will be by invitation. However the family would love anyone who wishes to join them in paying their respects outside the church, as long as social distancing requirements are maintained where the burial will take place.
Anyone wishing to send flowers may either bring them on the day of the service or send them directly to W E Pinder & Son Ltd.

I didn’t know Ernie too well, but I do know what he (you) meant to the family; my extended family.

Such sad news, a great shock to me and to my family.
Ernie was an excellent work colleague, becoming a trusted friend, and great company when sharing our love of Rugby League, playing Crown Green Bowls together and a regular visitor to my home.
Ernie was so easy to get on with, great humour, caring, well liked and appreciated by all.
It was a privilege to have spent many happy hours with him, my condolences and those of my family are with Margery and Kathryn at their loss.
